Did you know that Infant/ Child CPR is different than Adult CPR?

It would very beneficial for every parent and child care provider, including grandparents and babysitters, to know how to perform Infant/ Child CPR. Choking is ranked as a leading cause of unintentional death in children.

There are several options throughout the Lower Mainland for Infant/ Child CPR courses:

  1. I keep telling myself I need to take a first aid / CPR course. So far, none of my kids have choked on anything, but I have friends who’ve had kids who choke easily. Thanks for the tips and resources!


  2. This is a #mustdo for any parent orany one caring for kids. And by the way, tell people that they need to tell their sitters and nannies that in BC we dial 9-1-1 for emergencies – the number is different in different countries.
