#FlightoftheMite Children’s Book

We were recently given the pleasure to preview a sweet little story called, “Flight of the Mite”.

Flight of the Mite.

This lovely story tells of a wee little Mite who is determined to fly, so she sets out to make a contraption that will help her achieve this.

She comes across a wise old Mite who encourages her to use her imagination and by this, she can accomplish anything she sets her mind to.

Meeting the Ancient Mite.

The little Mite hops aboard a dandelion seed and rides the wind to a far off place where she meets the Others.

The Others.

These lovely creatures teach the Mite how to use senses other than just her sight.

This is our new favourite story to read and will be a book that we will be keeping to pass down to future member of our family.

Flight of the Mite will be launched December 12th, 2013, but from now until December 12th, for every “Like” the Facebook Page receives, the author and the illustrator have agreed to donate $0.25 to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
