About Easter Seals:
The Easter Seal buses began in 1947 and were established to transport children with disabilities to school. From there, they were used to transport children to hospitals, schools, treatment centres and community recreational facilities. Now, there is housing and camps available to serve children with disabilities as well as the well-known Timmy’s Christmas Telethon.
With generous donations and fundraising, the Easter Seals have helped many families of children with disabilities and helped give these children, abilities.
